The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata is a private university located in Action Area - III of New Town, Kolkata. It provides engineering, technological & management education. It was established in 2015 by IEM Trust, and it is the third engineering institution founded by the IEM-UEM Group. 

University of Engineering & Management (UEM) aims to provide an international ambience and exposure with innovative teaching techniques and courses which are tailor made (technical & soft skills) for the job market giving the students the winning edge and competitive advantage during placements.

UEM Kolkata has stood one out of the top 10 institutes of India including all IITs and all NITs of the country in the NPTEL program ranked by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Chennai.
